German company 2G Energy is exploring new partnerships with five Egyptian firms to kick-start projects focused on green hydrogen, biogas, and combined heat and power (CHP) systems.

2G Energy is currently in talks with three Egyptian companies regarding green hydrogen ventures and two others for biogas projects. While the exact investment amount remains unspecified, the company has shown a strong interest in collaborating with Egypt’s private sector.

As part of ongoing discussions, 2G Energy is focusing on a potential green hydrogen project in the Suez region. Additionally, a biogas initiative and a CHP project are on the table, all of which aim to support Egypt’s clean energy targets.
