The acceptance test of Angstrom Advanced’s new solar-to-hydrogen micro-grid project was completed successfully by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

It is a hydrogen-based renewable energy storage device developed by the Angstrom team that will break through the bottleneck associated with the use of unstable renewable energy.

Due to the inconstancy of solar and wind farms, this is seen as a significant step forward for the hydrogen community.

The hydrogen community benefits from Angstrom’s commercialized megawatt-scale containerised water-electrolysis hydrogen generators, skid-mounted hydrogen refueling stations, and big data platforms.

This project’s success also demonstrates the feasibility of constructing hydrogen energy villages and hydrogen cities.

The ultimate goal of the “Hydrogen Energy Communities” is to use hydrogen as a clean, zero-emission energy source to achieve carbon neutrality and sustainable development.

Angstrom has designed and built solar/wind hydrogen-based energy storage micro-grids in Massachusetts and Jiangsu, China, to date.
