First Hydrogen Corp. signed an agreement with FEV Consulting GmbH (“FEV”).

The two companies will jointly design and build the prototype for a customized hydrogen fueling station for the hydrogen mobility market.

First Hydrogen is working with FEV, an Aachen, Germany-based company, to design and build a prototype liquid hydrogen fueling station that will better serve customers over the lifetime of their First Hydrogen vehicles, serving the hydrogen mobility market as a whole.

First Hydrogen sees the development of the hydrogen fueling station as an asset to its automotive strategy and an additional opportunity to sell hydrogen-related technology to its customer base, accelerating the adoption of hydrogen as the primary fuel for the light to heavy hydrogen mobility sector. According to the report published by Next Move Strategy Consulting on December 13, 2021, the hydrogen fuel cell vehicle market is expected to be worth $851 billion by 2030.

First Hydrogen Corp. is a Vancouver-based company specializing in zero-emission vehicles and supercritical carbon dioxide extraction systems. Under two agreements with AVL Powertrain UK Ltd. and Ballard Power Systems Inc. the company is designing and developing a hydrogen fuel cell-powered light commercial vehicle with a range of over 500 km. In addition, First Hydrogen offers fuel cell-powered supercritical CO2 extraction systems that allow users to operate the systems in remote locations where the power grid is unavailable or the power supply is unstable. This previously developed supercritical CO2 extraction system is fully operational and can be monitored and supported remotely using the company’s fully integrated software operating system.

FEV Consulting offers a unique combination of business consulting skills and more than 35 years of experience in pre-production and production development, production planning, and cost planning. The company’s projects are managed by consultants with many years of industry and consulting experience. This enables FEV, in contrast to other consulting firms, to offer practical and implementable solutions with a deeper level of content. FEV has global access to more than 3,000 subject matter experts from one of the world’s leading technical services providers. FEV’s assignments are worked on by world-class interdisciplinary project teams, dedicatedly assembled for individual client projects.
