Petronet, a company that manufactures and installs Fuel Station Units and Automation Systems, and Teksis, a company that specializes in Hydrogen Energy technology, have agreed to collaborate on the construction of Hydrogen Filling Stations.

Petronet Chairman of the Board Haluk Gemici and Teksis General Manager Hüseyin Devrim signed the partnership pact.

Within the scope of the Energy Neutral Smart Building idea, the first step of the Petronet – Teksis collaboration was made in recent months for Green Electricity and Green Hydrogen Production.

Petronet’s Solar Energy System and TEKSIS Electrolyzer and Fuel Cells were incorporated into the TEKSIS Technology Building. Excess energy is stored as hydrogen gas during the day, and the nighttime need is fulfilled by electricity generated by the fuel cell. The Energy Management System, which controls the system and gathers data, is a cooperative venture between the two firms. The data acquired in this system, on the other hand, will be made available to the public immediately in the first months of 2023.

Parties interested in the industry will be able to acquire healthy information in order to make informed investment decisions in this way.

The development and manufacture of H2 Filling Station dispensers began as part of the ongoing collaboration.

The goal of the collaboration project, which was launched with the signing of a protocol during the Petroleum 2022 Fair, is to create dispensers in the near term and hydrogen compressors and cooling systems in the medium term.

It will also be feasible to manufacture green gasoline at filling stations using the firms’ present Solar-Hydrogen Energy Generation Systems.

Competitive solutions for the components that comprise the most significant cost items of the Hydrogen Filling Stations, which are predicted to become common in our nation and abroad in the short-medium term, will be offered with the goods. A large quantity of import substitution will be secured in this direction, and export prospects in the development of innovative technologies will be generated.
