A program for development of hydrogen energy up to 2050 is prepared in Russia. This was announced by the head of the Investment Division of Rusnano MC Alisher Kalanov at the scientific session of the international exhibition and forum RENWEX 2022.
The program is now under consideration by the Government of the Russian Federation and will be published within the next few months, said Alisher Kalanov. Its implementation will have to meet many challenges in almost all technological areas.
“We used to hope for technology transfer from the West. But now it is obvious that we will have to develop most of the new directions inside the country. Now it is our “homework. And without Russian young specialists with bright eyes it will be almost impossible to do it,” Alisher Kalanov emphasized.
