Superglass Insulation’s manufacturing process to include hydrogen

Green hydrogen will be a part of Superglass Insulation’s manufacturing process.

In order to supply green hydrogen to its glass manufacturing facilities in Stirling, Scotland, UK, the company has partnered strategically with Carlton Power Limited. Superglass’ dependency on natural gas will decline as a result of the collaboration deal.

First Hydrogen – one of top 10 companies making an impact in hydrogen

Hydrogen is first announced The Company has been named one of the top 10 businesses having an impact on the hydrogen market by Energy Digital. Along with Lhyfe, Siemens, BP, Air Products, Plug Power, and Neom Green Hydrogen Company, First Hydrogen was recognized as a pioneer in the industry for promoting hydrogen-forward international laws, creating novel technologies, and producing hydrogen in significant sustainable amounts.

First Hydrogen aims to reduce emissions by using green hydrogen and providing all-inclusive solutions to help the transition to zero-emission fleets. The Company’s hydrogen-fuel cell zero-emission cars (FCEV), which make use of hydrogen and fuel cell technology, have a considerable range of 500+ km and a quick refilling period of under 10 minutes. The FCEVs are now undergoing trials with key fleet operators in the UK, including utilities, roadside assistance, healthcare providers, and package delivery services. The FCEV just finished testing RIVUS and SSE.

WATT adds vice president of manufacturing

Peter Gunderson has been appointed vice president of manufacturing by WATT Fuel Cell Corp (WATT). In his new position, Gunderson will manage a growing staff as WATT begins selling its Solid Oxide Fuel Cell devices that are powered by natural gas.

Hope Gas, Inc., a utility business based in West Virginia, recently placed an initial order for 500 residential 1.5 kilowatt Imperium® fuel cells. Customers can utilize these fuel cells as an alternate source of home electricity, operating in tandem with an occasionally problematic electrical system.

Gunderson, an expert in mass production for high-tech goods, joins WATT from Magnecomp Precision Technology in Ayutthaya, Thailand, where he led initiatives to improve processes and raise product reliability as engineering director.
