France Issues Tender for Hydrogen Station Acquisition

The French government has issued a critical tender titled “Acquisition d’une station d’Hydrogène didactique et prestations associés pour le projet Albility,” inviting bids for the supply of a hydrogen educational station and associated services.

The tender was published on July 22, 2024, with a submission deadline set for September 20, 2024. This initiative is significant for advancing hydrogen technology education and training in France, which is pivotal for the country’s renewable energy goals.

The main objectives of this tender include procuring a hydrogen refueling station designed for educational purposes. This station will train professionals and students in operating and maintaining hydrogen refueling infrastructure, thereby bridging the skills gap in the rapidly growing hydrogen sector. The Ability project underscores the French government’s commitment to fostering expertise in sustainable energy technologies.

Key requirements for the tender include the provision of a complete hydrogen refueling station capable of demonstrating fundamental principles and operations. The system must be user-friendly and safe, allowing hands-on training while adhering to stringent safety standards.
