Oman is making strides this year with plans to open its first hydrogen refueling station.
This initiative by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology aims to support a shift towards cleaner energy and is a significant step in the country’s green energy agenda.
Additionally, the country will introduce a unified platform for electric vehicle chargers and an ambitious plan to gradually replace government vehicles with electric ones. Alongside these projects, Oman is set to expand its infrastructure for electric vehicle charging stations and will implement the green lanes project specifically for hydrogen-fueled trucks.
Oman’s commitment to digital transformation is evident with plans to launch a unified national portal for e-government services by 2025.
