ACME Group has joined hands with Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies, a German Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers (LOHC) innovator. They’ve signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to mutually investigate the possibility of creating large-scale hydrogen supply chains.

This initiative will leverage Hydrogenious LOHC technologies from ACME’s projects in Oman to supply centers in Europe. Notably, Oman has copious renewable energy resources such as solar and onshore wind. Additionally, the US Inflation Reduction Act provides production incentives that result in a competitive hydrogen production cost. The green hydrogen resultant from ACME’s projects enjoys storage in LOHC. Later, it’s transported by tanker to Europe to supply and decarbonize industry off-takers, energy, and mobility.

Hydrogenious’ LOHC technology fits large-scale hydrogen importation via marine supply chains. This property facilitates cost-effective import vectors to Europe.
