Advait Infratech (AIL), an energy solutions provider based in Gujarat, India, has entered a strategic partnership with China’s Guofu Hydrogen Energy Equipment (Guofu Hydrogen).

This collaboration, established through a technology licensing agreement, aims to enhance AIL’s green hydrogen production capabilities using Guofu’s advanced alkaline electrolyzer technology.

The collaboration was formally initiated with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at Guofu Hydrogen’s headquarters in Zhangjiagang. This agreement highlights a mutual commitment to sustainable energy development and brings a new era of technological synergy between the companies. Under this deal, Guofu Hydrogen will provide AIL with crucial technical documentation, expertise, and both online and in-person training. This support will facilitate the local manufacturing and assembly of state-of-the-art electrolyzers.

AIL will start producing 300 MW/year electrolyzers locally with plans to scale up to 1000 MW/year. This not only boosts AIL’s manufacturing prowess but also expands its product range to include hydrogenation machine production and hydrogenation station integration.

“This partnership represents a transformative milestone in our strategic vision,” said a spokesperson for Advait Infratech Limited. “Partnering with Advait Infratech Limited, a company with a commanding market presence and extensive expertise, allows us to introduce our advanced hydrogen production systems to India. We are committed to providing comprehensive services, from installation to after-sales support, through Advait Infratech Limited’s established channels.”

Advait Infratech Limited recently secured a bid for the SECI’s prestigious 100 MW/year PLI local manufacturing subsidy project, marking a significant achievement. This success underscores the deepening collaboration between AIL and Guofu Hydrogen, setting a solid foundation for future projects in India.
