In order to reduce global emissions, Australia and India plan new collaboration.
Both Ministers signed the Letter of Intent on New and Renewable Energy Technology at the fourth India-Australia Energy Dialogue.
The Letter of Intent acknowledges both nations’ commitment. The collaboration will focus on tangible actions and projects like low-cost solar and clean hydrogen production.
Dr Alan Finkel AC, Australia’s Special Adviser on Low Emissions Technology, facilitated the deal. the Technology Investment Roadmap and the Long Term Emission Reduction Plan.
This new partnership builds on existing low-emission technology partnerships with Germany, Singapore, Japan, Korea, and the UK.
