Electric Hydrogen secures $18.4M in tax credits The U.S. Department of Energy has awarded $18.4 million in federal tax credits to Electric Hydrogen, a Natick-based company building a factory in Devens that will make electrolyzer stacks used to produce green hydrogen, to help with the plant’s buildout and activation. The company’s most recent financial boost was revealed in a news release dated April 1 and includes this round of funding. A few weeks after announcing a $50 million private capital increase, Electric Hydrogen was awarded $46.3 million in federal awards in March.
