They are hydrogen-powered, emit no polluting gases, and have a range of 350 kilometers. In Bolzano, the first three of 12 hydrogen buses for urban transportation were unveiled.
The Solaris buses will be added to the fuel cell prototypes that have been in operation in Bolzano since 2013. The Province, which contributed to the purchase of the new buses, is continuing the growth and investments made in recent years to direct mobility in general, and local public transportation in particular, toward an emission-free future.
