Bosch has placed an order for PowerCell S3 fuel cell stacks worth approximately MSEK 25 with PowerCell Sweden AB (2,400,000 Euro). The order is expected to arrive in the second half of 2021.
Several PowerCell S3 fuel cell stacks have been ordered and will be shipped to Bosch as part of a joint production and licensing agreement. Robert Bosch GmbH and PowerCell Sweden signed a deal in April 2019 to design, manufacture, and sell the PowerCell S3 fuel cell stack for the automotive market.
Bosch will have the exclusive right to manufacture and sell the latest and improved PowerCell S3 for automotive applications such as automobiles, trucks, and buses under the terms of the agreement, which includes joint production of the S3 and a license.
