Centravis Production Ukraine, a key player in the global seamless stainless steel tubes and pipes industry, has entered a groundbreaking venture in collaboration with French firm Duncha France.

The joint project focuses on the manufacturing of automobiles equipped with hydrogen engines within the European Union. This move underscores Centravis’ commitment to innovation and sustainability, bringing high-precision seamless stainless steel pipes, specifically designed for hydrogen applications, into the automotive realm.

The primary objective of the collaboration is to contribute to the development and production of automobiles featuring hydrogen engines. In alignment with the EU’s Zero Carbon Initiative, Centravis aims to play a pivotal role in supplying essential components for the creation of light trucks that adhere to stringent environmental regulations. The incorporation of hydrogen fuel cell technology positions these vehicles as eco-friendly alternatives, offering a pathway toward a more sustainable transport future.

Centravis introduces its innovative H2FIT high-precision seamless stainless steel pipes as a cornerstone of the hydrogen project. Tailored for the automotive sector, these pipes are meticulously crafted to meet the specific requirements of hydrogen-powered vehicles. As hydrogen emerges as a key player in the global push for cleaner energy solutions, Centravis positions itself as an industry leader by delivering cutting-edge components that ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance with EU standards.

The project envisions the production of four small trucks leveraging fuel cell technology. These hydrogen-powered vehicles represent a leap forward in sustainable transportation, reducing carbon emissions and contributing to the EU’s broader initiatives for a greener automotive landscape. Centravis will supply a comprehensive range of pipes, covering high-pressure 700 bar sections and normal pressure sections of up to 300 bar, crucial for the hydrogen supply system within the automobiles.
