A 400 billion won investment deal has been struck between Dangjin City and Hyundai Engineering for a hydrogen production facility.
In accordance with the agreement, Hyundai Engineering will spend 400 billion won by 2025 to construct a base plant for producing hydrogen using recycled plastics on a 96,167m2 site in the Songsan 2 General Industrial Complex. The base plant will produce 220,000 tons of hydrogen and industrial gas annually.
In order to do this, the city of Dangjin pledged rapid administrative support for the easy addition of businesses, and asked the businesses to employ local workers and encourage the use of local products.
