According to the Doosan Group, a task force was created under its holding company Doosan Corp. to undertake the project, which will examine the markets for hydrogen development, distribution, and utilization.
Doosan has a number of subsidiaries, including power plant builder Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., fuel cell manufacturer Doosan Fuel Cell Co., and portable fuel cell power pack manufacturer Doosan Mobility Innovation (DMI).
To expand its hydrogen business in the short term, Doosan Group plans to press for synergy in the hydrogen-related business pushed by its affiliates, as well as acquire and merge with other firms.
