Italian businesses taking part in the first IPCEI on hydrogen (H2 Technology) will have the opportunity to submit requests for subsidies starting on November 28, 2022, and continuing through January 30, 2023, for projects in research, development, and innovation in the “enabling” elements for building the hydrogen supply chain, such as Gigafactory for the production of electrolyzers.
As part of the total 5.4 billion euros in aid sanctioned by the EU Commission in July, the Ministry of Economic Development makes 700 million euros from the IPCEI Fund (including activating PNRR resources) accessible to encourage investments.
