Envision Energy demonstrated their green hydrogen solutions at Singapore Maritime Week. This event was a stage for the company to illustrate the potential for green fuel in reducing carbon emissions in the maritime industry.

Frank Yu, Vice President of Envision Energy, praised Singapore’s focus on maritime innovation and decarbonisation efforts. According to him, green hydrogen is a critical clean energy source, desirable for maritime decarbonization in Singapore. Their ambition is to collaborate with international partners to consider the use of low-carbon substitutes and other marine renewable energies in port operations and development. Envision Energy has been producing green hydrogen at a commercial scale, using technologies like alkaline and polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) electrolysis. The goal is to replace traditional petroleum fuels with green hydrogen, which would result in zero-emission navigation.

The company’s green hydrogen solution also includes leveraging technological breakthroughs in renewable power systems, aiming for efficient coupling of wind-solar storage with hydrogen-ammonia-alcohol production. This approach optimizes cost and promotes environmental sustainability for its customers. Their largest commercial green hydrogen-ammonia project is in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, serving as a model for global partners. This initiative exemplifies the application of green hydrogen, advancing innovation in new industrial technologies. Additionally, Envision Energy’s products come with a traceable “Net Zero Green Code (powered by EnOS Ark),” promoting unobstructed “net zero trade” worldwide. Although already a leader in renewable energy, Envision Energy is still adamant about developing large-scale decarbonization solutions that promote a greener maritime future.
