Everfuel A/S has taken over ownership and operation of the hydrogen fueling station in Hvam, Norway, northeast of Oslo. This is the first of two fueling stations that Everfuel A/S acquired in November 2020.
This is Everfuel’s first hydrogen station in Norway, a critical step toward implementing the company’s green hydrogen fueling plan for trucks, buses, and cars connecting Scandinavia’s major transportation routes. Customers have been encouraged to participate in ongoing testing of various systems, including payment solutions and data transfer, over the next few weeks. This signifies that the station is operational and ready to supply green hydrogen, but with the possibility of temporary decreased supply.

The supplier has delayed delivery of fully approved and certified stations throughout 2021 due to Covid-19 travel limitations. Everfuel and the vendor are aiming for a third-quarter handover of the second station in sane, near Bergen, subject to Covid-19 constraints, final permissions, and the seller providing a fully functional station. The completion of the Hvam station completes the acquisition of two hydrogen fuelling stations and associated distribution assets in Norway from H2CO AS, a subsidiary of Uno-X.
