Federal International and The Green Solutions Group Corporation (TGS) have signed a MemoranduTGS m of Understanding (MoU).
The federal government will assist TSG in the acquisition of equipment and in the investigation of alternate modes of transportation. Using green hydrogen technologies, the parties also plan to collaborate and investigate business opportunities in clean energy alternatives In order to build TSG’s Green Hydrogen Manufacturing plant in Vietnam, the two companies decided to work together and signed an MoU.
Wind and solar power will be used to generate Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia at the plant. Exports of green hydrogen and green ammonia to countries in Southeast Asia will also be investigated by both companies.
To begin the Plant’s construction, TGS has begun the first stage of its development. TGS plans to build a 200 MW electrolysis plant in Tra Vinh province, Vietnam, to produce 150,000-180,000 MT of ammonia and 30,000 MT of green hydrogen annually. As of 2024, this plant is scheduled to begin production.
In the Mekong Delta region, there are plans to build additional projects with the same capacity. Vietnam’s Central Highlands region is a prime location for developing Green Hydrogen production projects that can be upscaled to 500 MW in the second stage.
