Edison opens hydrogen/gas power station in Venice

On Friday, the Italian energy company Edison (EDNn.MI) opened a cutting-edge power plant in Venice that uses natural gas and hydrogen gas to reduce hazardous emissions.

The government of Italy views the production of electricity from hydrogen as a viable alternative for a nation that now generates more than 50% of its energy by burning coal, oil, and natural gas as it works to minimize pollution.


Hydrogen-based engine plant to come up in Jamshedpur

On Wednesday, a group from Tata Steel, Tata Motors, and Tata Cummins met with the chief minister of Ranchi to request assistance from the state government in establishing a cutting-edge new manufacturing facility for green technology in Jamshedpur.

The CM told the group that his government will cooperate on the project in any way possible, according to a statement released by Soren’s office following the meeting.


HysetCo opens fourth hydrogen filling station in Paris

HysetCo opened its fourth hydrogen filling station, Porte de Saint-Cloud in Paris, on June 14, 2023. Up to one tonne of hydrogen must be produced by this station per day.
