Sarawak premier to speak at Poland hydrogen and decarbonisation forum
Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg, the Premier of Sarawak, will be participating in the Central European Hydrogen Technology Forum and the Central European Decarbonisation Forum. These forums will be held in Poznan, Poland on April 24 and 25.
The Premier’s Office states that Johari will participate in a panel discussion titled “Debate Regions for the Planet”. He will share Sarawak’s experiences and views on energy transition, renewable energy security, decarbonisation and environmental sustainability.
Accompanying the Premier will be Sarawak’s Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, and state Deputy Minister for Energy and Environmental Sustainability Datuk Hazland Abang Hipni.
Brian Kellar takes helm as BayoTech’s CFO
BayoTech, innovators in hydrogen production and transport, has announced Brian Kellar as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kellar has a long history in the energy sector with over two decades of experience, having previously served as CFO at Northwind Midstream Partners. He is credited with guiding companies through various market conditions and initiatives, and notably leading EVX Midstream’s growth from start-up to a dominant role in South Texas’s industry.
