To advance hydrogen generation technology in Spain, Grupo Dominguis Energy Services (GDES) and the Valencian firm Kerionics entered a strategic partnership.

The goal of Kerionics, a division of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the Institute of Chemical Technology of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, is to create products and solutions that are appropriate for the industrial issues that the zero impact economy presents (Green Hydrogen, Decarbonization, Energy Storage, Renewable Generation and Electrification).

With this strategic partnership, the Valencian organization GDES declares that it is moving closer to its goals of sustainability, open innovation, and the promotion of Net Zero technologies, which are crucial for the transition to sustainable energy. an increase in low-carbon energy production, storage, and usage from nuclear or renewable sources that will enable the decarbonization of energy-intensive sectors like the chemical and petrochemical industry, the steel industry, and transportation, among others.

Through a capitalizable participation loan on the one hand, and technical guidance and help in the industrialisation of impending advancements using SOEC technology on the other, GDES will work with Kerionics.
