The German government has agreed to let local hydrogen off-takers connect with project developer H2-Industries Inc, which recently announced plans for two waste-to-hydrogen reactors in the MENA area.
Robert Habeck, Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action stated this during a discussion with Michael Stusch, the CEO of H2-Industries, at an energy conference in Jordan.
Ministers and other attendees at the event emphasized the significance of forming international energy agreements to make hydrogen importation into Europe easier.
H2-Industries has declared ambitions to create waste-to-hydrogen facilities in Oman and Egypt thus far.
