GH2 Solar has secured a significant tender from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to manufacture electrolyzers with a capacity of 105 megawatts.

The Solar Energy Corporation of India, a governmental body promoting solar energy, awarded GH2 Solar this tender, marking an essential step in scaling up green hydrogen production. The electrolyzers are a critical component in generating green hydrogen, which is produced by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using renewable energy sources.

Green hydrogen is gaining traction globally as an alternative to fossil fuels. It can be used in various applications, including powering industries, providing heat, and fueling vehicles, all while emitting zero greenhouse gases when used. The production of green hydrogen also supports energy storage and contributes to stabilizing the grid.
