Green Hydrogen Systems has completed phase 1 reliability testing for its X-Series electrolyzer prototype.

Following the technical proof of concept and third-party validation announced on February 29, 2024, Green Hydrogen Systems has conducted over 250 hours of on-site reliability and stability testing of the X-Series electrolyser prototype in Skive, Denmark. The tests demonstrated reliable and stable performance across various loads, providing the technical confidence needed for the company to enter into binding contractual commitments on a performance-based price structure.

Peter Friis, CEO of Green Hydrogen Systems, expressed satisfaction with reaching this milestone, emphasizing that the successful tests underpin the product’s reliability and readiness for commercial rollout. The X-Series product, a 6MW pressurized alkaline electrolyser module, is poised to serve medium-to-large-scale hydrogen plants and projects, offering a competitive edge in the market.
