As part of a project in Norway, Green Hydrogen Systems has signed a deal with Liquiline to supply electrolysis equipment to Dalane Energi.
The Port of Egersund and Hydrogen Solutions (HYDS) are both heavily involved in the project.
Two GHS HyProvide A90 electrolysers with a combined 0.9 MW capacity will be supplied for the production of green hydrogen from renewable electricity under the terms of the contract at hand. In a 40 ft container, the electrolysers manufactured by Green Hydrogen Systems and operated by Liquiline/Danlane Energi will produce green hydrogen. As part of a three-year service agreement, Green Hydrogen Systems will provide the electrolyser units and assist with project maintenance on-site and remotely.
Electrolyser ROBINSON will be part of the EU-funded Horizon 2020 program. As part of the project, Dalane Energi is involved in the development of a system for integrating local green energy sources like hydrogen, waste heat and gasification of wood chips. The ROBINSON project will receive the hydrogen produced, and it will also be sold to other customers. In close collaboration with the Port of Egersund, the plan is to increase production and set up a hydrogen ship bunkering operation.
The ordered electrolysers will be able to produce 389 kg of green hydrogen per day when they are fully operational in the first quarter of 2023.
