Hinet Sangju, a hydrogen charging station in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, has begun operations.

The Hinet Sangju off-dash hydrogen charging station, built by Hydrogen Energy Network, has also given the green light to reviving the hydrogen economy in Gyeongbuk Province.

The Hynet Sangju off-campus hydrogen charging station is the first result of a December 2020 agreement between Hynet and Gyeongsangbuk-do, Sangju, Gumi, Gyeongju, and Gyeongsan to build a hydrogen charging station.

Sangju Odap Hydrogen Charging Station, operated by Hinet, is located near Sangju IC and is expected to significantly improve the driving convenience of hydrogen car drivers in Gyeongsangbuk-do. Furthermore, drivers of internal combustion engine vehicles can indirectly experience hydrogen, an environmentally friendly future energy, by using a hybrid hydrogen charging station that combines a gas station and an LPG charging station.

Meanwhile, Hinet intends to continue to lead the popularization of hydrogen energy in Korea through initiatives such as the green energy infrastructure transition agreement, the future car mega-station project, and the establishment of self-hydrogen charging stations.
