Hydrogen Vehicle Systems (HVS), a forward-thinking developer of hydrogen-powered vehicles, has teamed up with Dawson Technologies through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Together, they aim to fast-track the creation of two GTh hydrogen fuel cell Grand Touring (GT) racing cars. This agreement is a promising step towards advancing zero-emission vehicle technology and paves the way for more collaborations between the two companies.

HVS and Dawson Technologies are pooling their expertise to make the GTh demonstrator cars a reality while exploring future joint projects that could benefit both companies. By working together, they plan to generate revenue and ensure that their investments yield a solid return. The companies will also launch a shared branding strategy, using a combined D3/HVS logo to promote their efforts in a united way.

Dawson Technologies has also committed its vehicles for HVS’ testing and promotional activities, while HVS will do the same with its hydrogen-powered trucks. This reciprocal exchange will allow both companies to demonstrate their capabilities and refine their technologies even further.

Looking ahead to emerging hydrogen motorsport categories, like the Le Mans 24 Hours Hydrogen class in 2027, Dawson Technologies is keen to work with HVS to prepare the GTh demonstrator vehicles for these exciting new competitions.

This partnership, set to last five years, gives both companies plenty of time to meet their objectives and lay the groundwork for future projects. With the possibility of renewal, it’s clear that both HVS and Dawson Technologies are in it for the long haul, working together to shape the future of hydrogen-powered vehicles.
