HydePoint and Norwegian Hydrogen have partnered to advance green hydrogen projects focusing on near-shore and offshore environments.
HydePoint will leverage its innovative technology designed for producing hydrogen in maritime surroundings, collaborating with Norwegian Hydrogen’s expertise in developing and operating hydrogen infrastructure.
Initially, the joint efforts will concentrate on near-shore projects. By combining their respective strengths, the two companies aim to deliver mid-sized green hydrogen solutions.
Looking beyond initial projects, HydePoint and Norwegian Hydrogen have developed a long-term strategy to create large-scale offshore hydrogen production facilities. A crucial part of this strategy is integrating these hydrogen production sites with offshore wind farms. This collaboration aligns with their shared vision to lead the green transition by embedding hydrogen into the renewable energy ecosystem and establishing sustainable offshore energy solutions.
