Hydrexia Energy Technology (China) (Hydrexia), a leading integrated hydrogen technology solution provider, has announced the launch of its innovative Metal Hydride Trailer (MH-100T) for hydrogen storage and distribution.

The MH-100T trailer marks a significant technology breakthrough that could boost the growth of hydrogen technology in the global market.

The MH-100T trailer uses magnesium-based alloy for hydrogen storage, making it the first-of-its-kind solid-state hydrogen storage and distribution product in the industry. Its key features include large solid-state hydrogen storage capacity of up to 1 ton, high hydrogen storage density of 6.4%wt, low operating pressure of under 12 bar, high hydrogen purity of 99.999%, long lifetime of 3,000 cycles without performance reduction, stable transport under ambient conditions, and zero gas losses during transportation.

The standard design of the 40-foot container on the trailer makes it easy to be distributed by road, railway, and ocean. The technology is suited for a wide range of application scenarios including energy storage and power supply, chemical industry, metallurgical industry, and hydrogen refueling stations.

The hydrogen industry has long faced a bottleneck in storage and distribution. The new trailer effectively reduces this bottleneck, significantly enhancing transportation safety and distance while reducing transportation costs. It also lays a solid foundation for the future development of the hydrogen industry.

Hydrexia has already established a significant business presence in various major cities in China and international markets. Its technology solutions and products are gaining increasing traction in a wide range of industry verticals. As an integrated hydrogen technology solution provider, Hydrexia is committed to serving the needs of the hydrogen industry chain.

The launch of the Metal Hydride Trailer is expected to have a significant impact on the hydrogen industry by reducing transportation costs, enhancing transportation safety and distance, and contributing to the overall development of the hydrogen industry. However, challenges such as the high cost of production and lack of infrastructure for hydrogen storage and distribution still need to be addressed.

Overall, the Metal Hydride Trailer is a major technology breakthrough that could contribute to the growth and development of the hydrogen industry in the fast-growing global market.
