At a private chemical factory in Nagda, a hydrogen gas leak resulted in severe burn injuries to four workers. Three of them were deemed critical and sent to an Indore hospital.

The incident occurred when there was a violent explosion, injuring the workers, while they were performing maintenance on the hydrogen pipeline at the MC 2 caustic facility. The divisional team, which arrived at the workplace following the accident, is looking into the situation.

It is important to note that on November 9 there was another accident in the same field that left a worker seriously injured. This worker passed away on December 13 while receiving treatment. In this regard, a lawsuit against the Industry Manager has been filed in the CGM Court by the Industrial Health and Safety Department.
