Hydrogen passenger train made its premiere on French rails, with the country’s transport minister hailing it as the future of green public transportation. The train, which was built by Alstom and is already in use in Germany, uses a fuel cell to convert hydrogen stored in its roof into electricity, with the only pollutants being steam and water.
