HydrogenPro, H2V Industry, and Mitsubishi Power Europe have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to form a consortium to develop and deliver green industrial hydrogen projects.
This Memorandum of Understanding will establish a long-term partnership, combining the value proposition and expertise of H2V Industry, HydrogenPro, and Mitsubishi Power Europe to support European and French initiatives to meet decarbonization targets. The consortium partners will use this MoU to develop and deliver large-scale hydrogen projects, including those that are already underway.
In the development phase, H2V Industry will take the lead, while HydrogenPro and Mitsubishi Power Europe will contribute their design, engineering, system, and component expertise, as well as their procurement expertise.
The current projects are based on HydrogenPro’s 100MW high-pressure modular system and are the partnership’s first large-scale industrial projects, putting it in a global leadership position. The partnership will also create schemes to ensure a significant amount of European content in the supply chain. An investigation into European sourcing, manufacturing, and/or assembly in France has begun.
H2V Industry is a leading player in the hydrogen space in France, owned by the French-based Samfi Invest group (Samfi). On top of the current projects, H2V Industry is actively pursuing several green industrial scale hydrogen projects, for which HydrogenPro has been contracted to supply the electrolyser installations.
