Hyter, a company in the Pietro Fiorentini Group, has provided PLT energia with an innovative electrolyzer that will allow the company to use green hydrogen as an energy source in its offices.
For the past 15 years, PLT energia has overseen the entire renewable energy value chain, from the conception of wind and solar power plants to the sale of generated electricity. For the first time, the company will be able to completely eliminate the CO2 emissions from its offices and gain valuable strategic insight for future growth.
In this project, the acquisition of a new plant built by Hyter: a technological jewel for the generation of green hydrogen through the electrolysis of water, using the innovative AEMWE, Anion Exchange Membrane Water Electrolyser, technology is the focus.
Using the new Hyter electrolyser, PLT Energia will be able to produce the hydrogen needed to ensure the environmental sustainability of their site in Cesena’s electrical and thermal consumption. The Politecnico di Milano collaborated and provided technical guidance for both companies during the technological assessments.
