Hyundai Motor Group has stated that it will spend $7.5 billion in the United States by 2025, with some of the funds going toward accelerating the hydrogen ecosystem.

Hyundai stated that it is eager to collaborate with the US government and other business partners to develop and expand the hydrogen ecosystem in the United States.

The organization is dedicated to promoting a hydrogen society in order to promote the creation of sustainable business opportunities.

Hyundai Motor and the US Department of Energy signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in February 2020 to collaborate on hydrogen fuel cell technology advancement and global expansion.

In addition to supplying NEXO SUVs to the US market, a hydrogen refueling station was built.

Later this year, the organization will move forward with demonstration projects in preparation for the commercialization of fuel cell-powered electric vehicles, as well as a hydrogen refueling demonstration project with local partners.

Hyundai can also use the fuel cell electric trucks to provide logistics between the port and inland warehouses.
