Hyzon Motors Inc. announced the Hyzon Zero Carbon Alliance, a new coalition of leading businesses from a variety of sectors dedicated to advancing hydrogen mobility deployment globally while also helping the environment.

As the Alliance’s initial members, Ark Energy, AXA, Bank of America, Hiringa Energy, Modern Group, NEOM, Raven SR, ReCarbon, and Total will work together with Hyzon to accelerate the growth of hydrogen mobility supply chains globally and help reduce pollution in the hard-to-avoid commercial transportation market.

The Alliance will pool its members’ skills, resources, and capabilities to promote knowledge and creativity, define priority initiatives, develop business models, and support the delivery of appealing technologies that will allow customers to make the transition to cleaner hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles with ease.

The development of a global hydrogen mobility market requires bringing together a supply chain of product and service offerings. Together with global innovation hub NEOM, a group of leading financiers, insurers, and energy companies will support the growth of hydrogen ecosystems with the aim of speeding up the energy transition and delivering its benefits to global customers as soon as possible.

The Alliance will use its direct access to fleet operators around the world to build hydrogen ecosystems in tandem with vehicle deployments, making it a demand-driven initiative. By bringing the supply and demand sides of the market together, the Alliance hopes to solve some of the greatest challenges the hydrogen industry has faced to date, paving the way for zero-emission fleet operations in the near future.
