innogy has started investigation into an accident that occurred at the Triton Knoll offshore wind farm, involving Seaway Strashnov vessel.
The incident that occurred onboard Seaway 7’s Seaway Strashnov on May 8, left five people injured.
The vessel was working on the installation of foundations for the 860MW wind farm located 33km away from the coast of Lincolnshire in the North Sea.

To remind, this is the second accident this month involving offshore installation vessel.
In the beginning of May a serious accident occurred on board of offshore installation vessel ‘Orion 1’ during crane load tests.
Reportedly, a few persons suffered minor injuries.
