KCI and Smulders, have partnered on the design of offshore green hydrogen production platforms.
Together, the two businesses will provide end-to-end offshore hydrogen market solutions and will serve as an EPCI contractor for offshore and off-grid hydrogen production units that employ offshore wind energy.
KCI and Smulders will work together on the design and phased building of green hydrogen production units as part of the new cooperation.
The firms stated that their ultimate objective was to contribute to the generation of green hydrogen on a wide scale and at a reasonable cost, helping to reduce carbon emissions and accelerating the energy revolution.
