Linde Korea is actively growing the hydrogen ecosystem by building huge hydrogen vehicle charging stations in Gyeonggi-do and increasing industrial gas output for semiconductor fabrication.

In order to construct facilities for producing industrial gas, hydrogen, and exporting hydrogen-powered vehicles, Linde Korea and Gyeonggi-do entered into an investment agreement.

With this agreement, Linde committed $380 million (KRW 500 billion) to the installation and operation of hydrogen charging stations for buses and other large hydrogen vehicles in Gyeonggi-do, assisting in the development of a hydrogen ecosystem, and increasing the mass production of industrial gases for semiconductor processing. Through, it intends to increase responsiveness to the semiconductor industry.

In order to develop an industrial gas production facility in Pyeongtaek by the year 2031, Linde and Gyeonggi-do signed an investment agreement in January. This deal requires an extra three-month investment.
