MMA Offshore has been awarded a contract to support the foundation installation for an offshore wind farm project off the coast of Taiwan.

The contract will see MMA Offshore provide support to an unnamed top tier construction contractor.

MMA’s multi-purpose support vessel, MMA Vigilant, will provide integrated subsea services that will monitor the seabed for dredging and pilling work over a two month period.

“Expanding our service offering into supporting the renewable sector is a key step in executing our growth strategy. We are excited to be commencing this work scope and are looking forward to this being the first of many vessel contracts for MMA in support of the renewable sector.

David Ross, MMA managing director.

This will be MMA Offshore’s first job in the offshore wind industry.
