Government unveils Green Hydrogen Chain Development Program in Rio Grande do Sul

This Wednesday, August 30, at the 46th Expointer, the State government officially launched the Green Hydrogen Chain Development Program in Rio Grande do Sul (H2V-RS). Eduardo Leite, the governor, and Marjorie Kauffmann, the secretary of environment and infrastructure, attended the ceremony, which was held at the government auditorium at the International Pavilion.

A State Decree that is published in the Official State Gazette will create the policy. Leite and Marjorie signed the announcement of the measure on Wednesday at the event. In order to develop the H2V chain in the State, the government will create and implement public policies through the program.


National Hydrogen Roadmap for Sri Lanka revealed

The National Hydrogen Roadmap for Sri Lanka, which aims to advance and implement eco-friendly hydrogen technology in the nation, was revealed on Friday, September 1.

The roadmap was presented, according to Power & Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera, with support from USAID by the Petroleum Development Authority of Sri Lanka (PADSL) and Greenstat Hydrogen India, a branch of a Norwegian energy company that specializes in green hydrogen, solar, wind, and zero-emission maritime solutions.

The three major socioeconomic concerns of energy security and independence, energy affordability and equity, and environmental sustainability can all be addressed by Sri Lanka by using green hydrogen, which it perceives as a unique potential.
