NamX obtains dual-tank system patent
The dual-tank system patent has been obtained by NamX, a French start-up that is developing a hydrogen-powered SUV for 2027.
NamX demonstrated their hydrogen fuel cartridge technology when showcasing its SUV at the 2022 Paris Motor Show. a concept that Toyota and Aaqius have already investigated. The CEO and founder of the company, Faouzi Annajah, expressed his happiness on LinkedIn on receiving an international patent (W0 2023/203114 A1).
HyTerra gets permission to drill second hydrogen well at Nemaha
The Kansas Corporation Commission, a regulatory body, has given HyTerra permission to drill a second hydrogen well at its flagship Nemaha project.
Less than a week has passed since the business was granted permission to dig the Sue Duroche-3 well. With these permissions, HyTerra Limited has a lot of options for its planned drilling program in the third quarter of this year.
Drilling will demonstrate the potential of HYT’s 12,720-acre Nemaha project in Kansas to house helium and hydrogen in a significant manufacturing and industrial cluster situated between Wichita and Kansas City.
First passenger-ready commercial hydrogen-powered ferry in US
On July 19, the public is expected to board MV Sea Change, the nation’s first hydrogen fuel cell-powered ferry, in San Francisco Bay.
On July 12, the MV Sea Change was launched by the regional public transit agency San Francisco Bay Ferry and its partners. The announcement stated that the vessel will provide complimentary transportation between the Downtown San Francisco Ferry Terminal and Pier 41, located on the northern waterfront of the city.
