Northern Green Crane will use LOHC to improve pan-European hydrogen delivery.

It will be one of Germany and the Netherlands’ first large-scale green hydrogen import projects, boosting energy security in Europe and achieving EU aims. Northern Green Crane and its associates are applying for IPCEI financing.

All RHATL wave project requests have been submitted to the EU (Regional Hubs and Their Links).

Northern Green Crane will be one of the first projects to import green hydrogen on an industrial scale to the Netherlands and Germany by 2026, thanks to a powerful consortium and its LOHC technology, which stores and transports hydrogen effectively.

Using existing liquid fuel infrastructure, the program accelerates imports and offers up to 8,000 tonnes of green hydrogen yearly.
