As part of China’s 14th Five Year Plan, Sinopec has included “cleanliness” in its corporate vision for the first time.
To build China’s largest hydrogen power company, Sinopec will also promote clean energy construction by accelerating the conversion of hydrogen sources from gray to blue and green hydrogen.
Sinopec currently produces 3.5 million tons of hydrogen per year. In 2021, Sinopec will begin to promote and accelerate the construction of an integrated hydrogen energy industrial chain in various fields, such as capital operations, technology research and development, manufacturing, storage and transportation, network distribution and social cooperation.
Sinopec has already put 10 oil and hydrogen blending stations into operation in Guangdong, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Guangxi, and other countries and regions.
