ORE Catapult’s National Renewable Energy Center has resumed activity after introducing measures to ensure staff safety during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a key part of the UK’s infrastructure for clean energy, ORE Catapult is undertaking critical research, test, and validation programs that are essential for the progress of major offshore renewable projects.

“Whilst many of our staff continue to work remotely where they are able to do so, the restart of key programmes across our world-leading blades, powertrains, electrical and subsea testing facilities will ensure that the UK can continue to address it’s binding net zero targets and drive economic growth and job creation that will be more important than ever in the coming months.”
