The first comprehensive hydrogen fuel cell energy utilization project of the Japanese electronics giant in China has begun operations, according to the Panasonic Group’s Chinese subsidiary.
The project is situated in the Jiangsu provincial city of Wuxi. The company builds a hydrogen fuel cell system that is anticipated to arrive on the Chinese market in April using the five kilowatt pure hydrogen fuel cells Panasonic showed in Japan in October 2021.
The 5 KW hydrogen fuel cells can be coupled to numerous battery systems and have a high energy utilization rate. According to Panasonic China, their hydrogen fuel cell system can provide factories with power heat, cool them down in the summer, and heat them up in the winter, fulfilling the objectives of enhancing energy efficiency and utilizing hydrogen fuel cells to their maximum potential.
