Pure Hydrogen has secured significant agreements worth $10 million, paving the way for a multi-vehicle distribution partnership with the Vietnam ASEAN Hydrogen Club (VAHC) and a domestic partner.

The deal includes the sale of three hydrogen fuel-cell electric minibuses, two hydrogen fuel-cell electric coaches, and two EV80 electric buses, complemented by extensive hydrogen equipment and two single vehicle chargers.

This move aligns with the growing demand for sustainable transport options in the heavy vehicle industry both locally and internationally. Pure Hydrogen, with a market capitalization of $52.29 million, is advancing the adoption of hydrogen fuel-cell and battery electric vehicles.

The partnership with VAHC envisions a Hydrogen Highway through Pure Hydrogen’s Micro Hub strategy. HDrive, a subsidiary of Pure Hydrogen, is set to deliver the hydrogen vehicles and their accompanying infrastructure under the sales contract. This includes providing the VAHC with three FC70 minibuses and two HFC120C coaches. Additionally, the agreement secures the delivery of two EV80 electric buses within the current financial year.

Pure Hydrogen is expecting further sales discussions for additional vehicles and infrastructure. Positive responses have been received for their EV70 buses, showcased to potential customers on Australia’s east coast. These demonstrations could lead to an increase in future orders. Vietnam’s Hydrogen Vision VAHC Executive Chairman Le Ngoc Anh Minh emphasizes the importance of this project in fostering a hydrogen-based transport solution in Vietnam.
