500 fuel cell vehicles, along with maintenance and fuel for several years, have been ordered from the Swabian manufacturer by the US transportation firm TMP Logistics.
A significant order for fuel cell trucks has been placed with the German company Quantron from the USA. The American logistics firm TMP Logistics will get 500 large fuel cell vehicles from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs. In the presence of Economics Minister Hubert Aiwanger, the framework agreement for this will be signed during the Hydrogen Americas Summit in Washington (Free Voters).
The trucks are included in the order as a service, including their provision, upkeep, and gasoline. The ministry estimates that over several years, a sum of roughly one billion euros will accumulate.
On Tuesday, Quantron declared its entry into North America. The Swabians hope to make about half of their sales there by 2025.
